Health Tech Lab is designed for the needs of health technology companies, organizations and the public sector. The laboratory offers facilities, equipment and experts especially for product development.

Health Tech Lab serves as a health technology test bed environment that utilises sensor technology, biosignal measurement and analysis, software development, software integration and artificial intelligence, as well as usability planning methods. The research laboratory develops digital healthcare services, medical devices and artificial intelligence methods together with organisations and companies in the sports and social services sector. Health Tech Lab is part of Turku University of Applied Sciences.

Laboratory service offering:

  • Usability testing of hardware and software. Product development and testing can be carried out both in the Health Tech Lab premises and in field, as part of real-life situations.

Support for product development in the field of health technology:

  • Usability assessment and testing services (Products developed may be physical products, computer programs, websites or service processes).
  • R&D services (user-driven product testing and research of medical devices),
  • Training and facilities (laboratory space can be rented with equipment. In addition to the rent of premises or equipment, the rent includes an expert belonging to the laboratory staff and orientation to the equipment)
Beginning The start is negotiated together with the customer.
