PERUTTU: Health Campus goes Art and Technology 22.11.2022

For your information, we regretfully have to cancel the Health Campus Goes Art and Technology event, which was planned for 22.11. from 11 am to 17pm in Medisiina D. The event did not attract enough interest and the number of participants was very low.

We are planning a similar event in early 2023 and we will contact potential speakers again later and we will be marketing the event again on the Health Campus website and social media. (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook). Thank you everyone who has put time and effort in order to organize the event and prepare the presentations.

What happens when health, culture and technology meet?

This event will bring people together and enable true encounters between the campus experts, researchers and collaboration partners. The event will strengthen the Health Campus Turku ethos and collaboration ties and highlight the achievements and accomplishments of the year 2022. At the campus fair and open day, you can visit the laboratory and simulation facilities at Medisiina D, meet several life science companies showcasing their products and learn about the different ongoing projects at the three campuses: Health Campus, TechCampus and Culture Campus.

Our captivating guest speaker Hanna Meretoja will tell us about Narrative Agency as the glue connecting literature and well-being together. In her recently published novel, Elotulet, her own firsthand experiences are intertwined with philosophical reflections. She is a professor of comparative literature at the University of Turku. She has studied cultural narratives, philosophical connections of literature and storification of trauma and disease.
